Neil Lennon is hoping all his injury doubts will clear up ahead of tonight's Championship clash at Ipswich Town.

Aside from long-term absentees Zach Clough (shoulder) and Wellington Silva (hamstring), only Dean Moxey (toe) is expected to be unavailable at Portman Road.

Shola Ameobi, Jay Spearing and Liam Feeney should shake off knocks picked up in Saturday's goalless draw at Preston North End, while Lennon also hopes to welcome back Mark Davies and Stephen Dobbie to his squad providing they pass fitness tests ahead of the Suffolk trip.

Derik Osede also limped off at the weekend but could keep his place too.

Lennon told The Bolton News: "Both Liam and Jay should be fine.

"Liam had a scan on Sunday and there’s a wee bit of swelling on his foot but not too much to stop him from travelling and being in the squad.

"Jay had a recurrence of the problem he had at Burnley.

"Mark Davies had a fitness test on Monday morning as did Stephen Dobbie so we could have those two in contention for the squad as well.

"Shola got a jar on the knee but again it’s minimal.

"He has had football for the first time in a while and that takes its toll.

"He will be in contention and we are really pleased with his contribution so far.

"Derik came off with a slight knock and we need to assess how he is."

Moxey's absence is nearing an end but Lennon says he will not rush the defender back, particularly with Jose Manuel Casado proving a more-than-able replacement at left-back.

Lennon said: "Dean Moxey has not been out training at all. We are hoping to get him out on the grass at some stage this week.

"Hopefully, he may be in the squad for the weekend.

"If that’s the case then we have the international break after that where he will have plenty of time to get fit for the other side of it.

"He played a lot of games with injections and obviously that takes its toll.

"With him not training between the games, there’s the de-conditioning aspect of that as well.

"We are just waiting for it to completely heal and then get him some physical work, though he will not need much because he is a good athlete.

"Hopefully he is only a week or two away."
