Can't imagine any manager in any league keeping his job after almost a quarter of a season with only 2 points and no goals in almost 12 hours of football, this corner we're turning keeps leading us back to where we started in the shit, I can't imagine many fans have the same faith in this goon as KA does.

If you haven't got a pot to piss in and subsequently can't afford to sack your current manager and pay for a new one, you've got to say what KA's said here, haven't you?

That way, you can still pretend you've got a plan and are sticking to it.

More vacuous bullshit from the Conman in Chief...

Well, where do I start? What a win we all witnessed on Saturday!

It was great to see you all leave Macron Stadium with smiles on your faces, while having the likes of Josh Vela and Sammy Ameobi back in the squad after long injury lay-offs made a huge difference.

We were long overdue a win based on our recent performances and over the last few games the improvement, effort, spirit, character and camaraderie amongst the players was clear to see to everyone.

It was also absolutely apparent over the last few games that the players fully backed and gave their all for the manager and you, the supporters.

A great deal has been said and written about our recent bad luck, but I believe you make your own luck and the past is the past.

We can’t change what has happened and it is water under the bridge. We have to make our own luck going forward as that’s what counts, as was evidently seen on Saturday when deflections and on the goal line clearances went our way, as well as against us.

I thought the manager also underlined what a great tactician he is, especially with the link up play between Ameobi and Mark Little which left Wednesday exposed for large portions of the game.

If we are able to stay clear of injuries for once, we will have a far more balanced squad to choose from and I believe we will flourish.

I thought our support on Saturday was nothing short of terrific, as it always is, and how you all quietened down the huge opposition travelling supporters was magnificent to witness.

I can assure you that this plays a significant part in lifting and driving the players on, particularly in those last agonising minutes of additional time.

I don’t need to tell you how good it makes everyone feel going home after the match with three points in the bag. I for one know it makes me feel much happier and improves my weekend. Long may it continue for all of us!

As l have previously stated, I am not a great believer in historical statistics and l take every match as it comes, but l can tell you it is a relief for the manager, players and everyone at the club not to be reminded of those stats any more.

The hours without scoring and the winless run is now over and in the past, and I am sure you, the supporters, feel the same.

Whilst we are on the theme of statistics however, I might as well join in. After all, as they say, “if you can’t beat them, then join them”. So, here are a couple of stats based on the last 15 years.

The average number of points required to retain Championship status has been 46 points, so by my calculations, as long as we average 1.17 points in each game between now and the end of the season, we should be fine.

On a more positive note and one l prefer to set as our challenge, the average number of points required to be in the play-offs is 74, so our points target is 2.02 per game.

Our season starts now and in particular, in the next game against QPR on Saturday, but more importantly this month, where we need to kick on and pick up as many points as possible to get out of the relegation battle and climb the table before the next international break.

That’s our challenge and with your continued support, l think we will achieve our dreams. Come on you Whites!

As the manager said after the victory, there is no room for complacency now that we have got that win. The lads will be back at the training ground right away in readiness to go again at the weekend.

With QPR visiting Macron Stadium on Saturday, it is crucial that we build on our momentum and I would urge everyone to come along and get behind the lads just like you did at the weekend.

Let’s turn Macron Stadium into a Wall of White and a cauldron of white hot noise! You can buy your tickets now by clicking here or why not treat yourself to some of our award winning hospitality? Please call our Sales Team on 01204 673761 for more information.

As I said previously, our season starts now and we want to be there or thereabouts come the end of the season.

During half-term week, we will be holding a signing session with some of the first team squad over in Bolton Central and it will be a great opportunity for some of you and your families to meet our players.

Stayed tuned to the official website and the club’s social media channels for further details.

Finally, this Thursday we welcome the Bolton Wanderers Supporters Association to Macron Stadium for their latest social gathering.

Karl Henry and Sammy Ameobi will be special guests and I hope as many of you as possible are able to attend. Please follow them on Twitter @MyBWSA for more information about the evening and also the sterling work they do.

Kind regards,

Ken

Putting aside the obvious illogicality of that statement, perhaps the "previously" he is referring to should have been at the beginning of the season?

Saturday’s game against Queens Park Rangers was one played in terrible conditions, but despite that, your support was as fantastic and it was superb to see, particularly in the closing stages when we were chasing a winning goal, how your backing drove the team on.

The match also marked the first time this season that we have fielded an unchanged side, only reiterating the manager’s belief in his group of players.

Come full time, I think a draw was probably a fair result and a reflection of the game as a whole, but after having led for so long and the determined back-to-the-wall efforts the team put in defending our lead, we were all a little disappointed come the final whistle.

That said, if someone had said before the Sheffield Wednesday game that we would take four points from a possible six, we would have certainly taken it.

As I have previously said, this league has improved since we were here two years ago and the quality of the opposition and the players, many of which have played at Premier League level, is extremely impressive alongside the huge monies being spent by the big clubs.

The competitiveness, ups and downs and twists and turns of the league results week-in, week-out means that in my opinion, consistency is what we must aim to achieve as has been the case with Wolves this season.

With this in mind, I have made the following observations. Firstly, Cardiff have only scored one Championship goal in October, but are still second in the league.

Middlesbrough, with no wins in their last five games, are still only five points off the top six, while Sheffield Wednesday have suffered four defeats in five games.

Leeds had lost their last three games before the weekend, Reading have only had one win in seven Championship games with four defeats and for QPR, Saturday’s match was their fourth draw in five games and they have not won away since February.

Finally, prior to Saturday, Hull had gone 25 away games without a win, Sunderland have taken four points from their last ten games and have no wins in 11 and Burton have endured three defeats in last four games and have gone five matches without scoring.

Every team in the Sky Bet Championship will have a bad patch this season and it just so happened that ours came at the start of the campaign.

What we now need to do is to achieve consistent performance levels and results, but we must remember that there are still 99 points to play for between now and the end of the season and l truly believe that we have a squad capable of climbing up the league between now and then.

As always, l urge everyone to come along and get behind the team to help us achieve this on a weekly basis as your support can make all the difference.

Finally, l was made aware of Queens Park Rangers’ website’s comments on ‘Three Players To Watch’ prior to the weekend’s game.

l put this down to mind games however – the players certainly should take no notice of articles such as this and should perhaps even take it as a compliment, particularly as David Wheater as he arguably played one of the best games of his time at the club on Saturday.

One way or another, their claims about our players’ weaknesses were left unfounded come the final whistle and that is testament to the hard work that the team put in at the training ground.

This, coupled with the superb efforts of Karl Henry alongside the return of Josh Vela and Sammy Ameobi – three players who have felt like new signings in recent weeks – has me confident that the results will continue to come as we head towards the end of the year.

Elsewhere, we expect to hear the verdict on the ACV later this week and I will update you all as and when we have news.

We also have a number of offers available for supporters including £10 free personalisation on home shirts and any tickets purchased this week for midweek performances of our upcoming pantomime costing just £10 per person.

For more information on the above, please visit Bolton Central or call 0844 871 2932.

Kind regards,

Ken

So 2 weeks ago it was "Ignore the stats, they're irrelevant" but now it's "Here are some stats for you to back up my mental claims that we are still in with a shout of making the play-offs."

He's fucking deluded.

Add to the fact he's come and stated that Parkinson is doing a good job, says it all about the man, potless, aimless, and no interest in the town or club.

Parkinson got us promoted when everyone thought we’d sink further. With no money. Under an embargo. Uncertain off field problems.

The man has worked wonders and it’s just a shame that we can’t back him with some cash, as that is the difference in this league. Other teams have more money, therefore better players

Any manager would struggle given the current financial state

Parkinson had money when he managed both Hull and Charlton in this league, still managed to fuck that up at both clubs.
