On his side’s performance…
I wanted to test ourselves against Premier League opposition and I’m proud of our performance today.

I’m a little bit disappointed that we haven’t won the game because we created some good chances.

Unfortunately we couldn’t put one of those away, but the replay gives us another opportunity to show them how good we are.

On playing against Premier League opposition…
We didn’t look out of our place, it was important that we keep our level of performance high in all competitions and against every opposition and I felt like we showed that today.

I’m pleased how we acquitted ourselves and I felt every single player matched the levels of theirs.

On James Henry's performance…
I thought James was very good and I’m pleased he’ll be with us to the end of the season.

I don’t think he’s had the opportunity to play in his favoured position as much as he’d like because of the form of Sammy, but you can see from today he can create chances, he’s clever with the ball and he’s always popping up at the back post looking like he can score.

On the Wanderers fans…
When I came to this club it was made clear that we need to build back the relationship between ourselves and the fans and I think we’re definitely doing that.

It’s important for this club to have a strong relationship with its supporters and they’re reacting to all the good work we’ve done so far this season.

On potential signings during the transfer window…
We’re not looking for anyone to leave this club out of the current squad. There’s a potential for somebody to perhaps come in during January, but as of yet nothing has been sorted.

And finally, looking ahead to the replay at Selhurst Park…
We’re going to go there and enjoy the game again. The only pressure we have comes from ourselves and we want to keep playing well and developing as a team.

At home you feel like you have the better chance to progress, but I’m confident that this team can do the job at Selhurst Park.
