We won't catch Sheff Utd, they're by far the best side in the division
Win our game in hand, and we're 6 points behind them, it's not beyond the realms of possibility if we can start with the same XI every game.

Assuming we win our game in hand, that would put us 6 points behind them with 9 to play. Our remaining fixtures are similar for both of us in terms of winnability. One of us will mess up somewhere along the line, lets hope its them. Its a tough ask but it is still very doable.

We've beaten them twice this season.

Ha ha, some absolutely laughable posts on this thread, you'd think promotion was a certainty.

Yes, we've had a couple of good results, but the team that played last night isn't much different than the one outplayed by Bristol Rovers and Wimbledon not a week or two ago.

We are a hit and miss team, and have been all season. Last time we stuffed Gillingham 4-0 people were talking about winning the league, I think we went on to get dicked at Chesterfield and scab a draw at Coventry.

Get a grip.

We have proven we can beat anyone in this division. Beating Sheffield twice this season shows this. A team that is hit and miss is not a team that is 3rd with nine games left.

Yes its not been a perfect season and there have been a couple of wobbles along the way but there have been significantly more hits than misses.

There have been far more misses than hits. And let's not pretend we're a small team punching above our weight, along with Sheffield Utd we're the biggest club in this division and losing to the likes of Chesterfield, Swindon and Rochdale is embarrassing.

Definitely a case of taking one game at a time but there is a difference between these last couple of games where we've played with confidence and have taken our chances and earlier in the season where we never looked so comfortable and scraped over the line to win. We have a real attacking threat playing a genuine 3 at the back and with Pratley in midfield to give the front and wide men more freedom.
I am cautiously optimistic whereas earlier in the season I didn't feel convinced by some of our wins. Of course I realise that this is BWFC and anything could happen, but if all goes well we have a good chance despite the number of away games left to play.

If that were true we would be fighting relegation. We have won the joint second most games in the division and lost the third least. We have the best defensive record and the second best goal difference. We have had a great season (minus two dodgy patches) no matter how you look at it.

There is a long nine games to go this is true and we could still muck it up in typical Bolton style. However, there is no reason to be negative or pessimistic after our last two games. We keep up that sort of form and we get promoted. It's entierly in our own hands.

If Phil Morris gets crocked, it's season over for us.

8 goals in 2 games and he's provided assists for 7 (or 88%) of them.

It's that simple.

Or Pratley, although Karacan would be able to do a similar role as Long would for Morais but whether they achieve the same level or not has yet to be seen.

We still have to play Scunny and Southend away so it ain't going to be easy even with a full team.

Fleetwood and us have winnable home games this Saturday so probably no change this week. We just have to make sure that we get the job done. And that Fleetwood throw a wobbler ..... How we are in a tussle with Fleetwood still boggles my mind.....
