Hi, i am looking for some advice if possible. Although we are from Scotland my son has taken a big liking to Bolton. Also my cousin was in your squad back in 1986 so I always looked out for your results also.
I promised him I would take him down for a game in the coming season and looking at dates and travel the game at preston in November looks best.
Could you give me some advice on whether this game could be potentially moved from a 3pm ko and secondly would I have any chance of getting tickets for the Bolton stand or would i need to buy tickets for the home stands?
Thanks in advance.

Hi Celtic, welcome aboard  Very Happy

Don't think the Preston game has been picked for TV so shouldn't be moved now. As for tickets that's a bit more complicated i think.
To get away tickets i think you have to be registered with the club first or have bought tickets in the past, but someone like Fab on here who goes to a lot of away games will have a better idea.
It's our only local derby next season so Bolton will take a big following so it may be easier to go in the Preston end?

Hi Celtic,

We are playing friendly's at Arbroath (Gayfield) tonight (7.30pm) and Dundee (Dens Park) Friday (7.00pm) - maybe you can take you son to one or both of these games as well as Preston?

Thanks for the replies. Thought it might be difficult to get Bolton end tickets at Preston as I thought you would have a big support there. Think ill still hold off till nearer the time though and see if anything becomes available and if not I can buy for the Preston stands as I wouldn't imagine this would sell out?
Ive booked our train anyway so hopefully sky don't go messing with the kick off time.

Re the 2 friendlies, i might take a drive up to Dens on Friday night for the game. Thanks.

Hi Celtic, Don't worry about having to sit in the Preston End. Just message me when the tickets go on sale and I will get you two tickets for the Bolton end.

Kevin Mailey. I don't think he ever played a first team game to be honest. He was a goalkeeper and i have a picture of the 1986 squad photo which he is in.

He could buy it himself as a surprise birthday present for his cousin.
