Firstly, It seems that whatever app I use on my iPhone, for results, scores, etc, during our games, and after, I seem to end up with piss poor coverage, or none at all, and often without anything at all. What do you believe is the best app to use for our team, to cover games scores, and news ?

Secondly, I'm fed up with Sky, they seem to be losing out to Virgin and BT, and any other player on the block. Which do you feel has, or will have, the best coverage for the team, this coming season. (I know I could pay for BT whilst on Sky, but refuse to on principle).

Get a grip, we're in the Championship, not the Champions League.

Sky is the only place you'll see Bolton live this season, although I suspect Channel 5 still have the Saturday night highlights package.

Or you could just go to the game!

I try to get to whatever games I can, honestly ! If i can't then I like to keep up to sped with whats going on.
I think you may be right about Sky carrying most EFL games, but don't know what BT sport covers, so may have to cough up for them.

Ring up sky, threaten to cancel, receive a nice discount.  Always works, don't take the first offer either

Might take the plunge, though not sure how to work a VPN

What are the benefits, or not, of a VPN ?

For this purpose - a VPN simply hides your actual IP address and make it appear like you are connecting from another location.

Thanks BTID. I read all of this, and very informative it was too, although nothing specific was mentioned about streamed sports events, in particular football matches. Presumably, if I do find a server that I can watch a game on, then it would be best if it wasn't based in the UK, stopping the UK authorities tracking my IP and then following up with a blocking, or court case ! Of course there is then the problem of the delay, but can't be worse than listening to the game on Nuts radio  Very Happy
I'm assuming you use a VPN ? As I see it, it doesn't run automatically, and you have to switch it on each time you go on the net ?
Lots of questons, but I shall see what I can find out. Thanks again.  :good:

You seem intent on breaking the law. I don't think you're cut out for prison life so I'd avoid all this shite.

Its not a case of breaking the law, its more like using technology that has been made available, legally, to anyone that wishes to buy/use it.  Very Happy

If it was legal you wouldn't need a VPL.

Don't let BTID take you down the path of criminality.

I defy anyone to be interested in my VPL !  Very Happy

I'll use BTID as an alibi, if my case comes up.
