Believe it or not,I'm allergic to soap.
Most modern commercial soaps cause an immediate allergic reaction, and I've had to find alternatives.
Hand made soap is the most common option, due mainly to the lack of additives so widely found in the more popular brands.
I'm on seaweed soap at the moment. Very nice it is too.
Anyone else with allergies?

No KP. And it no longer contains coal tar. It's banned.
It simply smells like coal tar.

A few years ago I bleached my hair one day and then I put a colour on the next. I left the bleach kit on for longer than I should have and by the time I finished I ended up with blisters that bled etc and that was bloody painful.

I've never done it since. My hair looked good at the time though! Very Happy

I used to love Wrights Coal tar soap. Pears has a lovely scent as well.

I've just had some gruel and some lemon drizzle cake.

Feeling a bit stronger, should be ok for Corrie and University Challenge.

I like to live life on the edge.

Pears is made in India now,and for some reason the manufacturers have tinkered with its makeup.
Just not the same.

Always loved Pears soap as well.

I was always fascinated with it as a kid with it being translucent.

Love the smell of imperial leather as well. Very Happy

As kids,we always considered anyone who used Pears soap,to be extremely posh.

Mum used Fairy on us.

Have you tried E45 Emolient for shower and another for washing? My sister has reactions to most soaps and has been using this for years. Doesn't get rashes now but she can still frighten grown men on a dark night.
