Coyle gets Premier ref sacked...

Coyle has complained numerous times about some referees to Mike Riley. Coyle has always felt that his concerns have not been listened to properly but this time after complaining about the Cahill red card, further action has been taken.

Stuart Atwell, who sent Cahill off, has been removed from the 'select group' of referees.

The Cahill incident was the last straw for Attwell. In 4 years in the Premier he's given goals when there went any, and disallowed perfectly valid ones. All this on top of his arrogant manner, and just plain crap refereeing.

Well done Coyle! Credit where it's due!

Good news.

Attwell deserved to go. Some referees seem to have it in for us (e.g. Clattenburg) but Attwell was consistently crap whoever was playing.

Coyle had nothing to do with it, the guy was just an awful referee.

It seems unlikely anyone would listen to Coyle as Coyle has himself complained about Riley promising to reply to him and failing to do so. No surprise really given Riley's love for Bolton.
