After the little hiccup last Saturday at Reading, here's hoping Duggy will have kicked the boys backsides sufficiently this week and a Premiership scalp will be on the table at 5pm Saturday.
Cardiff too will be looking for a break from their relegation problems with this winnable away trip to a Championship side.
A very difficult one to call once again but unbelievably I think we may sneak this one?!

I'm going to go for a 2-0 home win. We have nothing to lose and Cardiff are bottom of the Premiership so their priorities might be elsewhere.

For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction!!
I'm not losing it, I lost it long ago.

I don't even have a glass, but after watching the buggers for 55 years, optimism becomes your only friend.

Don't be rude you silly little whippersnapper!  ::seething::

We are going to win 6 - 0! Very Happy

That nice young man we signed last week will get three at least. I think Mr Greaves said his name was Frank Worthington.

He looks like a bit of a Flash Harry to me but I suppose hair that long is the style nowadays.  Shocked

Those London fairies can't take a tackle either so young Allardyce should have a field day.  Very Happy

Who are we playing again? Reading? Aren't they in the Fourth Division now? :tongue2:

Cardiff City? A Welsh mob? Well that's even better because this is a football match and all the welsh are good for is rugby and a few half decent choirs!  :good:

We'll stuff this lot, make it seven nil and that lad Whatmore will get a couple as well. Hell with this opposition I wouldn't be surprised if Jim McDonough got on the score sheet!

The Cup's ours lads. Bank on it. Ian Greaves Army! :number1:

Ref watch: Moss in charge

Jonathan Moss will officiate Wanderers’ FA Cup match with Cardiff City this weekend.

A seasoned Premier League official who boasts experience of the professional game stretching back to 2005, West Yorkshire based Moss took charge of Liverpool’s 2-2 draw with Aston Villa last time out.

Having brandished 66 yellow and two red cards so far this term, Moss last featured in a Wanderers’ game when the Whites drew 2-2 with Blackpool at Bloomfield Road in November 2012.

Jake Collin and Mark Scholes will run the line, while David Webb is the fourth official.

Who's Jonathan bloody Moss? And what sort of idiot gives out sixty six yellow cards in his career let alone half a bloody season!  ::rules::
I want a proper referee, get Clive Thomas, he's just done the World Cup. I don't want some namby pamby who flashes a yellow card just 'cos the striker landed in the second row and can't take a sliding tackle from a real defender like a real man. Next you'll be telling me this woofter books people for nutting the keeper at corners!  ::seething::

This is a man's game and I don't want some pillock who faints at the sight of a bit of blood or a broken leg or two! The only red I want to see is the claret running off Gowling's bonce into his shirt and a bit of gaffer tape should sort that soon enough anyway. The only yellow I want to see is the stripe on the welsh berk's backs when they get tackled good and proper the way it's meant to be done. Get a proper ref, that bald lad from Italy, the one who could take out six bouncers and a tank with a look and only stops the game when it's half and full time or we've scored another! Do it right FA, keep this mummy's boy away from us 'cos this is football not bloody tiddlywinks! Wink

We'll concede an early goal, the crowd (all 356 Bolton fans) will boo for the remaining 85 minutes during which we will let in another three.

0-4.

Dougie will be in the dole queue 9am sharp on Monday morning.

On a serious note I think we'll lose this one 2-1, maybe 2-0. I don't see us getting spanked like last weekend but if Dougie thinks Moritz is going to wave a magic wand because he's fit so we'll win he's been into Big Sam's homebrew again. Very Happy

I think we'll put up a better fight, we couldn't be worse but that Cardiff will be too good for us and Dougie will come out, say things were much better and he took a lot of positives from the game then say we're free to concentrate on the league.

In other words the same tosh we've been hearing since Big Sam wandered off into bar code land.
