The Portal

I'm not sure if any of you are aware but we have a new page here on Bolton Nuts known as the Portal. The Link is with the rest of the links at the top of the page (Direct Link: https://forum.boltonnuts.co.uk/portal )

On this page we plan to keep updating the content with fun stuff for us all to do.

At the moment there is a great live stream coming from the International Space Station of our lovely planet.

There's also the classic space invaders game - who can get the highest score?

When the Chat Box is active - this will also be available here (as well as the usual locations)

A nice straightforward link to any radio streams will also be here.

Although, I did just get the ISS live feed mixed up with the Space Invaders game and panicked a bit because I thought we were all going to die.....

loved the space invaders, my 6 year old was amazed they even had video games when i was a kid! How about Galaxian next? Spent many hours trying to dock the rocket in Halliwell taxis as a lad!

Damn you for putting the space invaders game on there, I love that game, i'll soon be addicted - will be booking myself into rehab for it next week.

I spent alot of time in Halliwell taxis, playing those bloody games.

Space Invaders was immense compared to earlier stuff like "Pong" - although I remember liking "Breakout" which was like pong on speed. Quite nostalgic seeing this.

i did think it sounded like a euphemism when i typed it! The Rag was never very good for pulling birds unless you fancied them 18 stone and no teeth.

Hence why I asked you if you had no standards, mate.  

The Lamb was always the best bet for anything half-decent.

Or The Peel (but they were a bit young in there - Jimmy Savile's wet dream.)

Or Ghastly Astley's on a Thursday night for a late drink.

Woke up in a strange bed on Oldham's Estate many a time......

The Space Invaders is brilliant.

I'd forgotten about Astleys! I always thought the classier birds went in the Crofters

Space invaders replaced with Galaxian

I can't get it to play.   

Right click your mouse over it and it gives you the option to play.

Worked for me.

use the space-bar and arrow keys

It transpires I'm even shitter at it now than I was 30 years ago.........

And I was plenty shit back then......
