That's interesting, there have been big rumours John Paul De Joria is a potential investor in us for a while.

He's the billionaire owner and has had a soft spot for Bolton since Stelios played for us apparently.

According to his Twitter page initial contact was made last year, talks with Eddie over 'retirement funds' remain in the balance, also says something about Eddie requesting a long standing club servant is kept on in the event of a sale, Gartside maybe?

So a company owned by a billionaire sponsors us, with a product that is just being launched in the UK in July... and you lot put 2 and 2 together and get 114?

Listen, I've given up on any investment, until i see it on the sky sports yellow ticker, im not even going there.

Only thing I could see in it is why Bolton, They can obviously afford a premier league club, that said, maybe we are cheaper and they dont want to invest that much on advertising?

All this is going to turn out to be though, is an advertising deal, thats it im afraid.

Plus the fact he's announced his interest in the club.

Bolton Wanderers announce ROK Mobile as new principal kit sponsors

[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

Bolton Wanderers are delighted to announce ROK Mobile as the club’s new principal kit sponsor on a two-year deal.

The ROK Mobile logo will feature on both the Bolton Wanderers home and away kits for the coming 2015/16 season, with the third shirt to be retained for use by the club’s charity initiative.

ROK Mobile, a new music-focused mobile network launching July 2015 will revolutionise the way people consume music and use their mobile phones.

The service is the first of its kind to offer a combined mobile package, together with a 100 percent ad-free premium music service, on a rolling 30-day contract. ROK Mobile is a SIM-only service and provides its own proprietary music streaming app available exclusively for its customers.

Head of Commercial at Bolton Wanderers Richard Gough said: “We’re delighted to welcome ROK Mobile as our new principal shirt sponsors for the coming seasons.

“ROK Mobile are very much a forward-thinking and ambitious company and this is an exciting deal for both entities. We are looking forward to a successful working partnership.

“We’d also like to take this opportunity to place our thanks on record to our previous principal shirt sponsors, FibrLec.”

ROK Mobile Director James Kendrick said: “We’re very proud and delighted to be a new member of the Bolton Wanderers family.

“We’re scheduled to launch in July, just before the new season begins and we look forward to being part of what we all hope will be an outstanding two years for the team and its supporters.”

The new Bolton Wanderers home kit for the 2015/16 season will be revealed in the coming days.

A billionaire doesn't get to be one by chucking money away. So he won't buy us because he isn't stupid, especially if Gartside staying is a condition of the sale.
