Might be a day late but I was busy stood outside the Reebok waiting for Robert Earnshaw and Rodney Jack to show up.

I can't believe it's been five years since I registered on here. One helluva ride, amirite?

Well done Chris for being a member for 5 years.

Your post count is a tad low in reflection though! Very Happy

Getting sued is much more interesting than 28000 posts Very Happy.

Right you are. I'll stop posting, kane57 can carry on getting sued.

See how long the site survives.

I was sued by Daniel Izza. Spent a lovely few weeks embroiled in that

I think so - the LOV lawyers took over eventually and that's when it was resolved.

I'm genuinely pleased you are off the hook.  It couldn't have been a particularly happy period for your family either.

I've no idea what was said or done - and I don't wish to know.

Even after all these years I've been on the forums I still can't get my head around how some people take them so seriously!

Aren't they supposed to be about having a bit of fun on?

Christ I've been called all the names under the Sun during my many years of modding various sites - but when people take things that seriously that they revert to the law then surely things are going to far?

We are all on sites like Nuts and LoV because of our shared interest in football - a game - an entertainment.

We post on the forums for a laugh, to get things off our chest, whatever - and sometimes things do go a bit to far but surely a retraction, a grovelling apology, an admission that things might have been better not said, should suffice enough to allow a line to be drawn and people moving on again, without the need to get lawyers involved?

That's my view anyway.

Back on topic though - congratulations on being with Nuts for 5 years - and being able to give it out and take it back in good humour over all that time.

It's no secret that I rate you highly as a forum poster and would love to see you post on here a great deal more frequently than what you have to date.

Also, Natasha's post did make me smile about ruining her 28,000th post celebration.

Stick around a bit more Chris and have a laugh with the rest of us all.
