Fake News

This is a serious threat and very little is being done to deal with it. Good to see it recognised and fairly typically liar in chief and hypocrite Dominic Cummings refused to cooperate.

I think the issue is that mud sticks and if someone puts out a fake news story or targets individuals with emotive messages designed especially for them they will have an impact whether or not they are retracted afterwards.
Legislation may help, but acting retrospectively will have little effect although punitive fines might eventually minimise that sort of behaviour.
Perhaps we could adopt something similar on Nuts to prevent people putting out fake news rumours about Anderson doing a good job?
