During a game between the Famous Singers Who Are Now Dead, and the Irish Flat Jockey's XI, Roy Orbison scored a brilliant 206, setting a new record.
The previous record of 177, set by Long John Silver for the Fictional Characters against the Game Show Host All Stars, had stood for over two years.
Celebrated late into the night, and had an extra mug of Horlicks into the bargain.
Have you been at the magic mushrooms again boncey?  Very Happy
Serious business. I keep records. Next game is Sunday night.

British Poets v American Presidents XI.

Derian House has been named Charity of the Year 2019 at the prestigious JustGiving awards, held at the Royal Lancaster hotel in London. They beat off competition from 50,000 other charities.

Well done to them.

It's all happening today.

There are very few Native Americans in Warrington.

If I get on the firewater and head down there she's in big trouble.  I hope Nat comes back soon, because I have big news for her.
I've had her adopted by the Cherokee Nation. Her name will be Tayanita (Young Beaver), and I'll be performing the burning slipper dance tonight in her honour.
Must remember to take them off first this time.

Good luck with the slipper dance.

Probably wise to have at least one bucket of cold water nearby.

I've been to the Cherokee Indian Nation reservation, near the Great Smoky Mountains. Whilst there I learned of how the chief and elders, etc  managed the tribes business and such like, (especially their casino), I doubt they would let someone of such dubious character as our Preston entrepreneur in to the tribe  Very Happy

She can put in for tribal registration. She'd need a CDIB (Certificate of Degree of Indian Blood, but I'm sure she'll be fine.

Billy Two Rivers of wrestling fame allegedly left offspring around the North West. We know designer and Rovers fan Wayne Hemingway is definitely one of his and we know he wrestled at the Wryton Stadium on Higher Bridge Street on numerous occasions...

His huge store of paintings only came to light after his death. I'm sure the art snobs will have something to say about them.

It's headlined...'cos yer arse ain't washing itself'.

I'm appalled. You never heard this sort of stuff from Pears.

I was watching an old episode of Bullseye the other night, on Challenge, and some of the prizes on Bully's prize board made me laugh.
One of them was a TV set that looked like a huge box. It had four screw in legs, and you probably had to get out of your armchair to change channels manually. And yet, I remember them well, because we had one. Ours even had sliding doors across the front.
TV's used to be a piece of furniture. How times have changed.
