Seeing as we can actually attend the game now i think we will sneak a win.

I'm going for 2-1, i don't think the strike will have affected the players too much, it may have even helped them to have a little break.

This is just the sort of "must win" game we always seem to cock up.

0-1.

Ref Watch: Peter Bankes to referee Wanderers home clash against Ipswich Town

Peter Bankes will take charge of Wanderers’ away clash against Ipswich Town in the Sky Bet Championship at the University of Bolton Stadium.

He has taken charge of 34 fixtures so far this season, showing 148 yellow cards and four red cards.

Bankes last took charge of Wanderers in March 2018, as Phil Parkinson's men lost 3-1 at home to Preston North End.

The officially produced six yellow cards in that game, as Wanderers players Mark Beevers and Filipe Morais went into the book alongside the Lilywhites' Paul Gallagher, Ben Pearson and Greg Cunningham.

Paul Hodskinson and Daniel Leach will run the line for Bankes, with Martin Coy taking on fourth official duties.

Due to a critical failure at the stadiums IT systems tomorrow's game may be in doubt.

Ken must have been destroying his harddrive.

Heard there wouldn't be any food or drink available in the stadium tomorrow, if the match goes ahead.

We’re an average sized football club in the north west of England not a nuclear power station

Yes I know that Boggers.

An Ipswich fan on their forum saying he's surprised Bolton fans haven't run Anderson out of town by now.I know Anderson has been too scared to attend a home game since November but i think the Ipswich fan has a fair point.

Game on!

Bolton Wanderers can confirm that Saturday's Sky Bet Championship clash with Ipswich Town will go ahead.

The problems affecting the club's IT systems have now been rectified and the match will take place as planned.

Parkinson made a complete dick of himself once more, playing one up front at home to another shit team, in a must win game, you can't deny that. Not to mention, even at 0-2 down he never really changed it.

Having said that, can anybody say with much confidence we'd have got a point or won the game if we'd played a more attacking formation? I'm not normally one to ramble on about no effort, no passion, and all that but it stood out a mile that the players weren't in the mood, the poor lambs haven't been paid after all.

Two things really got me down today.
Firstly- the football was so bad that words can't really describe it. it was as bad as I've ever  seen in 50 and more years watching them. Tactically utterly inept,  the attack was non-existent, defence was naïve. The whole thing was utter dross.
They should have been fighting for their lives and it looked like they couldn't give a shit.
Presumably most of them will be hoping for contracts elsewhere next year and rightly so as only a handful deserve to be with us next season. The only thing today which gave any hope was Luca Connell who outshone the lot of them.

The other thing is this £5 to get in and free for kids. Today  I was surrounded by loads of obnoxious brats screaming and banging the seats. So if the football wasn't enough ,other peoples feral rugrats made it worse.
