MARK Little has officially left Bolton Wanderers to sign for Bristol Rovers.
The free-agent full-back made 35 appearances in all competitions for the Whites following a free transfer from Bristol City in the summer of 2017.

Despite being a first-team regular for most of his first season, the 30-year-old fell out of favour following a red card against QPR in February 2018, starting only three more games that season.

He was in the side that beat Nottingham Forest on the final day to secure Championship survival but failed to make an impression last season, making just four appearances and only one start in the league.

Little helped Bristol City to the Football League Trophy and promotion in 2015 and has now returned to the South West, where he will line-up against Wanderers in League One.

Rovers boss Graham Coughlan said; "Mark is a player that should be playing at a higher level, he adds good quality and is a real all-rounder so we are delighted to bring him to the club.

"He's got two promotions on his CV, an abundance of experience in the leagues and he knows what it takes to get out of this division."

Ridiculous that he played so few games last season, we really missed his driving runs from full-back.

Another Parky masterstroke.

Always liked Little and as Nat says didn't get enough of a chance. Sad to see him go.

Something obviously happened - he was arguably our best player and certainly a regular starter in the team up to his sending off at QPR then he virtually never played again and Parkinson (Anderson?) seemed to go out of his way to replace him by signing international players first ex-England international Jon Flanagan, then the Polish international Olkowski.

What was all that about when we all knew the position wasn't even a problem one for us and more or less every other position on the pitch (particularly a replacement for Madine) was?

Something very odd went on.

Best of luck to the lad.

Despite all the hype Little was far more effective than Olkowsky paired with Robinson they added so much more going forward. No idea why the manager overlooked him.

Often crossed the half way line, and was sent to Castle Parky for brutal re-education. It appears to have been ineffective.
