Imagine that idea?
Get in touch with a load of old bwfc players and offer them a six month contract each.
What a way to bow out of your career by making a heroic come back to save your old club. It's the stuff movies are made of. Especially if we get a cup run!

Doesn't matter if they lose every game, at least we make it back from the brink.

And being a Wanderer was always about being an underdog... How many of our old boys could still kick a ball enough to get through a few League one matches supported by the youth players?

Okocha anyone?
Ben Haim. Stelios. Diouf. Mark Davies. David Lee.

I mean, imagine Diouf getting a final crack at football. He would love it.

Regarding Diouf, I thought this was funny....

Jamie Carragher has been even more critical in his assessment.
“He has one of the worst strike rates of any forward in Liverpool history.
“He’s the only no.9 ever to go through a whole season without scoring. He was always the last one to get picked in training.”
