I think the tabloids (and The Telegraph) have a lot to answer for in terms of stirring up the enmity and hatred that currently infect our country. Rabid sensationalism, devoid of any fair-mindedness.

Hiding behind their slogan of "protecting the freedom of the Press", they seem to think that privilege entitles them to trample callously on their chosen, often innocent, victims, with no regard for common decency. I'd vote for a party that promised to tackle this problem.

At the moment, I'm struggling to find any party I can support.....

Sunday Times claims 9 major Tory party donors are Russian "businessmen" and are named in the Intelligence and Security report the Government is suppressing until after the election. Here.

Obviously it's all above board. Right.

- although their online support system for campaigners to print and distribute materials has been taken down.

Identified as coming from Brazil and Russia.

I'm sure Borat Johnsonski knew nothing about it though Smile

If only there were some sort of review into Russian interference with our democratic processes. Surely Boris wouldn't be so dishonest as to suppress it until after the election. Rolling Eyes

And talking of suppressing embarrassing news for the Tories why did the BBC show old footage of Boris at the Cenotaph rather than showing people what an idiot he is by making not one but two gaffes at the wreath laying ceremony?

If the Russian interference investigation proved damaging to Labour, the Tories would have published it like a shot, for political gain.

If it proved neutral, they would have published it, to show that their hands were clean.

The only conclusion that can be drawn from the "delay" is...........blindingly obvious!!!

According to the cyber experts opinions on the TV, the DDOS indicated both Russia and Brazil, but could quite as easily come from someones bedroom in the UK. DDOS software can be bought on line it seems.
Needless to say, and I've used the term before, paranoia is striking almost everywhere, but especially with the Remain parties and its followers.

It is not paranoia to ask why a report into Russian subversion of our electoral process has been suppressed by Boris.

As always, blind to the real issue - everything is twisted because Boris is ‘on side’.

The government is suppressing a report of national significance, excusing that is pathetic.

Right now there is such turmoil that unthinking and dogmatic people like yourself and XM are unable to give yourselves room to widen your vision and view just a little, and remain focused on the most ridiculous of things. Even when Brexit has happened and we're on to the next phase you'll still be whinging away.

It is a fact that there has been an investigation into Russian subversion of our electoral system. It is a fact that the report is being suppressed by Boris despite there being no grounds for it not to be released. These are simple facts.

Why do you think it is being suppressed?

If you are so open minded why don't you stop being so dogmatic and accept that most people don't want to leave the EU and certainly not on the terms negotiated by Boris? Try taking your rose tinted blinkers off at look at the reality not the fantasy of what leaving the EU will mean for the UK.

What you didn't hear in Boris' speech today:

1. Anything on the impact assessment he holds on his Brexit deal.

2. Anything on the report he holds on Russian involvement in UK politics.

3. Any date on which the Tory manifesto he holds will be published and scrutinised.

The public are beginning to wise up to his chicanery, and now actually expect bare-faced lies, misrepresentations, back-tracking, denials, flouting the law of the land etc.

The evidence of his complete unsuitability for office stacks up more and more each day, just as Trump's does. His privileged background renders him unable to appreciate how the masses live. I expect, like Melania, Carrie is becoming wiser and more regretful by the day

If only the tabloids and Telegraph would responsibly represent what is really happening here and cut the sensationalism and hyperbole before it's too late for the continued prosperity of the UK...
but they won't.....

Surmising doesn't make anything true.
Fact is we don't know 100% however the Intelligence report was leaked to the Sunday Times and there have been several private sector investigations and investigative journalism TV programmes all of which provide considerable evidence that there has been interference both in the 2016 Brexit referendum and the last general election and other reports that claim to have evidence that the right wing political establishment has been infiltrated by agents acting for Russia including key Tory sponsors. Furthermore the Electoral commission pointed out that our electoral system is not able to withstand interference from malign foreign forces and is not fit for purpose.

So the real question is that if Borat/Cummings truly believe that this is a load of bollocks why don't they just publish the report and provide the other evidence to nip it in the bud?

Surely that's the obvious course of action that someone with nothing to hide would take?

The excuses given are as thin as those against electoral reform which would mean that every person's vote counts as much as the next person's vote but sadly we are tied into a system wherein we are not equal in that respect.
