Hi Bonce, I'm interested to know which scotch is your favourite tipple.
Loch Lomand single malt. Very smooth. Sometimes Copper Dog. Bit pricey, but nice.

Thanks, I haven't tried either of those. I'll check them out.

I tend to fall back on Highland Park, but like to search for others or  just have another slug of Jack Daniels.

I like Jack Daniels.  Starting to sound like a drunk, but I'm not. It's always worth seeking out some of the lesser known names.

I've bought one of those soup making machines. Not used it yet. Anyone got one? Any good?

I call mine a microwave.  Throw the contents of a soup tin in a bowl, cover it and pop it into the microwave for 2 and a half minutes Smile

I've always fancied a bread maker but i know if i do buy one i'll probably use it once then leave it to gather dust.

What is a soup making machine anyway? Don't you just need a blender?

I'm not really a shorts drinker much prefer a pint myself, so don't really know the prices of bottles but I've just bought a neighbour of mine a bottle of Jameson whiskey from Tesco which is listed at £25 but discounted to £18 if bought using their clubcard.

Seemed a bit of a bargain to me - don't really know if it is though?

Thought I'd mention it just in case either of you are interested.

Jameson's Irish whiskey is delicious, Sluffy. Can't go wrong if that's the one you got.

Yes, that's the one.

My neighbour is a lovely old man, nearly in his nineties, and originally from Ireland.

I try and get him a little treat every now and again and something for Christmas and I know he likes Jameson.

I much rather have a Guinness myself!

:drink:
