Adam Senior could be the next Bolton Wanderers youngster to leave the club on loan.

The 18-year-old academy graduate is wanted by a few local clubs, including Northern Premier League side Ashton United.

The Boltonian defender made four appearances for the Whites last season, making his debut in defeat against Gillingham in League One last August.

Senior could now follow Callum King-Harmes and George Thomason, who both signed deals with Bamber Bridge last week, and Sonny Graham, who featured for Atherton Colls in a friendly at the weekend.

Bolton are understood to be moving on at least one more player to clear space for new signings, although plans to loan out Muhammadu Faal have hit problems after the striker injured his foot in training.

Ian Evatt wants two or three more senior players before the transfer window closes in October, including a midfielder and at least one new striker.

But reports linking the Whites with a move for wantaway Blackpool midfielder Jamie Devitt are thought to be wide of the mark.

The club showed an interest in the former Carlisle United man earlier this summer but have since moved on to other options.

Wanderers host their first competitive game since March this weekend and have informed supporters that a free digital supplement will be available to download from the official site before kick-off against Bradford City. A similar arrangement will be in place for the following Tuesday night’s game against Crewe in the EFL Trophy.

A printed programme will be made available for the opening game of the season against Forest Green and available to purchase online via subscription and on a match by match basis.

The club is also awaiting confirmation from the EFL that the trophy game against Crewe will be available to stream via iFollow, as it will also take place behind closed doors.
