Impressive that, Boncey. The Jam Tarts supporters have raised £12million apparently. That's about the same as Cousin Vinny's taken out of Ecotricity in interest free loans - at the last count- but not as much as the COVID cash he's latched on to. He seems peculiarly flush at the moment for some reason.boltonbonce wrote:Great news for Hearts. Ann Budge has done an amazing job up there.

Can you remind me how much BWFCST has raised so far?

I hope Big Stan will have learned his lesson when he comes out, Boncey.boltonbonce wrote:

Anyroad at the last count the ST had accumulated £48K after nearly five years. Try working out for yourself how many years it'll take 'em to raise £12million at that rate.
Tbf though they did give £8.5K to the now defunct BW Ladies.

I do hope that he wasn't worrying unnecessarily.

How much debt did Ecotricity run up before Brexit, COVID and the increase in wholesale gas prices?
Why did he take out £12million in interest-free loans from Ecotricity?
How much tax did he pay on it?
How did Ecotricity manage to get its accounts so wrong?
How much has Ecotricity had in furlough grants and COVID loans?
How much has Ecotricity spent on Forest Green Rovers?
Don't tell me, I'm guessing she asked him nothing about any of it.

How do you make a blonde laugh on Saturday?
You tell them a joke on Wednesday.
Why do blondes like lightning?
They think someone is taking their picture.

It's time to move on from Ecotricity. I'm looking for a new owner as I consider a move into politics. The next general election is the most important of our all lives, and I want to play a part one way or another. I'll be writing more later today. https://t.co/ISm1fegIOr

Ecotricity founder Dale Vince to sell company and go into politics
He is one of Britain’s most colourful entrepreneurs, who left school at 15 and made his first foray into the green energy sector by building a wind turbine to power the old ambulance he once called home.
Dale Vince, a former new-age traveller, is now set to make hundreds of millions of pounds by selling Ecotricity, the renewable energy company he founded in 1995.
He plans to use his new-found freedom to wade into the world of politics, calling the next election “the most important of my lifetime”.

Vince, with his second wife, Kate, has donated money to Labour and the Green Party.

Thanks Sluffy.
Do you think that Vinny might have developed a bit of a taste for the lucre, the mansion lifestyle and the ego to match Big Sam?

The free-scoring Doidge (1 in 17 appearances) was subsequently sold to Hibs for £252K, (about what he was worth) after which FGR got another £500K out of FV and Vince got a cosied up photo with Auntie Sharon. Regrets? What a Tw*rp!
We haven't heard much about the missing accounts from the 'go to expert' on finance or from his biggest fan, Professor Claptrap of Karlsruhe recently. Why would that be, I wonder?
