Not sure that is true.

The loons on twitter seem to have gone more bonkers than usual in the last day or so as the Daily Mail ran this story yesterday that contained a STOCK (clearly labelled) picture of Starmer eating a curry.

The picture was 'cropped'.

Someone found the original picture and made out that the Mail was falsifying the event - implying that was Starmer eating a curry at the event they want him prosecuted over.

It wasn't and was never intended to show or even imply that but social media being what it is, all the morons believed it as gospel without bothering to check out the facts - in fact just like you have done!!!

Apparently various Tories have been up in arms about the idea of Labour and the Libdems doing a deal to oust them……which is a bit rich coming from the party that bribed the DUP with a billion pounds of taxpayers money to stay in power.

This story about the 77 year old bird who is forced to travel on buses because she can’t afford to heat her home is shameful on 2 levels - first because Boris avoided answering the question about it, saying instead that he introduced the bus pass that made it possible- as if that was a solution anyway -but also because he lied (yet again) as the codgers 24 hour bus pass was introduced years before he was mayor.

He really is a disgusting little shit.

Interesting that tories fighting local elections are distancing themselves from Boris e.g. “don’t blame us for mistakes made in Westminster”

Some are just lying and claiming labour is pro-eu to appeal to the ignorant.

Nothing unremarkable in the English local elections with all parties picking up seats from the Tories as expected but the big news has to be that for the first time ever it looks very likely that Sinn Fein will control the Northern Ireland assembly - something I thought I’d never see in my lifetime.

In practical terms it will mean very little as the DUP will continue to collapse the decision making process, but it speaks volumes about public opinion.

  • The Conservatives are losing vote share in all regions of England - but most of all in the south of England. Labour is also losing vote share in all parts of England apart from London. And the Lib Dems are gaining vote share everywhere apart from in the north.


  • The Tories are doing worse in pro-remain areas - and the Lib Dems best in these places. But Brexit does not seem to be a factor in what is happening to the Labour vote.


  • The Conservative vote is up in the places with fewest graduates, but significantly down in the places with most graduates. Labour, on the other hands, is losing votes most in places with the fewest graduates.

Wondering if the conservatives should drop the “unionist” bit from the party name now that they don’t control a  single council in Wales, Scotland or Northern Ireland and they have brought the prospect of a united ireland closer than ever before?
Realistically they only represent half of England now, and are unlikely to reverse the trend whilst they cling on to the Johnson  raft - but I guess they have nothing else. However the party’s traditional position of supporting a United Kingdom seems far away at the present time having gone down the populist route of attracting the uneducated English who are generally racist towards of the scots, Welsh and Irish.

Tricky problem.
