A great watch.
Much more fluency going  forward and OK at the back even though we did give them a few chances.
I don't think Wycombe were anywhere near as coherent as they were last season, so I won't be getting carried away just yet - but an excellent result and very entertaining at times.
Dempsey was excellent.

Some lovely stuff going forward and great to see excellent dribbling from Bradley.

Great stuff today, and six wouldn't have flattered us. Nice to see Syd Farrimond remembered at the start.
Rammy was in my thoughts too, on his birthday.

Great result today against a team tipped to be fighting at the top of the league. 4 points from the first 2 games, I'm sure we would have all taken 4 points from our opening 2 fixtures.

I think the Ref must have been related to Ken Anderson...Ben Toner Wink - Nothing has ever been proven, its just a joke.

Next up, in the league, Port Vale...

Towards the end of last season, I was asking as to why Dempsey wasn't in my team - now you know why.

Anyway, a good performance by all today - a thoroughly enjoyable watch.

They created too many chances for my liking - some better finishing and we could have been snaggled.

As it stands, so far so good - and 3rd in the table after two games to boot.

Hope involvement with the completely useless Caraboo Cup doesn't affect our momentum.

A 3rd Div match v Wycombe doesn't get much better than that.It was the first time I have seen Morley play and was impressed.Dapo, Bradley and Trafford were also very good.It looks as though Bolton just have better players than Wycombe as they should  given the size of the clubs. It was nice to have a block of lads singing/creating an atmosphere in the East Stand Upper, i think they may have relocated from the lower tier in the aftermath of the bottle throwing v Wigan.

Dempsey was excellent.
Maybe they weren’t as coherent as last year because we were better than last year and didn’t let them be Lusty? 😉

Maybe, but they had chances that they didn't convert and they just didn't seem to have the midfield aggression they had last season so it wouldn't surprise me if they're not contenders this year.
Another 10 or so games before we know anything meaningful about either side IMO.

A great all round performance today, Bradley looks to be a great player and played really well. Midfield was excellent with Dempsey fantastic as a box to box midfielder but i thought MJ had his best game for a long time. Iredale was decent at the back and Decberto has some job getting back in the team now.

A great game at the Costa Del UniBol with added sunburn but well worth it!

Great game, fabulous entertainment. Dapo and Dempsey were excellent, as were MJ and the young full back Bradley..
We were great going forward but Wycombe did have some clear cut chances they should have scored from.
As I sat there this glorious sunny afternoon watching our excellent team pummel Wycombe with a noisy crowd and a fabulous atmosphere I thought to myself, "Thank you so much Auntie Sharon."

I am very grateful for the relative stability the club seems to have but more than that the style we play pretty much guarantees entertainment at both ends of the pitch.
We were last 3rd in this league after 7 games last season and we know how that turned out so I won't be getting carried away, but I love it when the sun is shining and we're making hay.
It's those wet Tuesday nights away at Burton that we need to get right - only this season we have the likes of Eoin Toal who are more suited to deal with it so there is reason to be optimistic at least.

I have to agree Lusty, there’s a long, long way to go yet but hopefully we can continue to impress. I think the squad is lot more resolute this year albeit I still believe we could do with a ball winner in midfield as we don’t really have any alternative to MJ but other than that we’re looking good.
