Absolutely amazing, who would have thought that switching to a back four and playing last seasons leading scorer in his best position would result in some goals and a victory?
That first 45 minutes was as bad as anything I've witnessed watching Bolton, absolutely shocking. What the fook was Evans doing with that formation? And Dapo at left wing back? The manager is absolutely clueless. No doubt the happy clappers will be out in force saying Evans is a tactical genius, when the truth is it was a Hail Mary.
Once we had a system that suited the players we were by far the better team. Again, who would have thought it? I thought Dempsey was excellent second half, as was Dapo. I'd get rid of Charles & Bod at the earliest opportunity, neither are good enough.
So what now for Evans? He doesn't like being proven wrong (Crellin anyone?), so I'm guessing it'll be a return to 5 at the back and Dapo in goal for the next game.
