I know people may not want to disclose who they are voting for, so you can vote anonymously.

I'll not be voting as I believe they are all as bad as each other.

I used to think if I ever did vote again it would be for a good reason, say voting 'Green' to save the planet but it turns out they care more about the rights of transgender women's to have access to 'real' women's safe spaces - usually places where men (or men who now identify themselves to be women) are not welcome due to fear of abuse from then AGAIN.

I really don't mind if Fred wants to be Freda and Freda wants to be a Fred - but you can't have a convicted wife batterer changing his name to Freda and expect to gain access to a woman's refuge because he's had the operation - he's still a bloke in stature and strength, even if he now wears curlers and a bra.

The worlds gone fucking mad as far as I'm concerned, Trump's going to win again, Le Pen is going to take over in France, Reform will soon have more votes than the Tories and I've got a choice between little Rishi and wooden Starmer!!!

No thanks I'll pass, someone else can take the blame for voting in whoever the next government will be.

Like Sluffy, I was considering not voting at all as I can’t disagree with any of the criticism of the last 14 years of the Tory Government but despite living near Barnsley where we know it’s a waste anyway I’ll still vote Conservative purely on the basis that if I didn’t I’d have no right to criticise the total fook up that’s about to befall us when the human bollard and his whacky bunch take over on Friday. Sadly it looks like Labour will have a huge majority and therefore a license to inflict whatever damage they want onto us so far from an improvement on the last 14 years most of those who assumed an improvement and voted Labour or Reform will see and feel the full folly of that decision. Based on the fact that every Labour government in history has left the country in a worse financial state than they inherited it, it scares me to death what they’ll do this time. Rishi is a Pratt in many ways but at least he’s got the economy returning somewhere near functioning which will all be demolished in a flash when Labour gets in. Oh woe is me. ☹

The Tories had the majority for the last 14 years and look at how they have fucked up by ruining this country.

Rewarding failure giving them the vote again is never an option!

Absolute project fear scare tactics from the Tories as usual, please explain how it could possibly be any worse under Labour WS63?

All this talk of a super majority is bollocks, don't remember the Tories or Labour moaning about it when BoJo won the last election. Can't wait to see the back of this lying self serving Government and i sincerely hope most of them lose their seats.

No arguing the Tories have been atrocious Karly but don’t ever believe Labour can’t be even worse because they always are. 🥴

I did my postal vote as the day I received it. I voted for Labour. I won’t be making the same mistake again after voting for the nasty party previously!

Fwiw the greatest ever government in the country's history in terms of social reform was Clem Atlee's Labour government of 1945.

It introduced the NHS, started the provision of council housing, revolutionised the benefits system (from the cradle to the grave - pensions, unemployment, sickness benefits, etc) and introducing National Insurance to fund the service, revolutionised the education system, nationalised in the best interest of the country power, rail, steel, coal, etc etc.

It could be said Atlee laid the basis of how we have lived in this country (and still do and enjoy) to the present day.

But he's Labour - so he must be shit I guess - in such the same way others think they are Tory so they must automatically be shit.

There's good people everywhere - don't judge any book by its cover.

But as I'm not voting who am I to tell anyone about politics?

Vote for who you want and for whatever reasons you want.

Here's Rishi looking for his principles, and wondering why his packed lunches keep disappearing.

Huge losses predicted in the polls will give the Tories something else to spin. Expect them to spin it is "we did well - nowhere near as bad as the polls predicted" when they only lose 280 seats.
I never trust polls but the prediction is that our constituency in Norfolk may go Labour for the first time ever - although the boundaries have changed marginally and it's therefore defined as a new constituency.
A lot of people are pissed off at the Tories attempts at spin - especially making up slogans based on things that Labour didn't rule out. As one bloke in the pub said "The Tories didn't rule out raping our daughters and buggering our sons but I didn't see Labour claiming that they would"
Reform keeps shooting themselves in the foot by appointing bigoted candidates that clearly haven't been vetted but they're predicted to win 7 or so seats. Embarrassing to be British at times.
Time for change, and despite the mess that has been inherited, hopefully it will be for the better. I suspect though, that halting the decline won't be enough and Starmer may not have the stomach to take the really hard decisions for the longer term.
