Some clubs ban their players from using social network sites, is it time BWFC did the same?

I know, human rights blah blah blah, do we really want a Twitter addict at the club? Or would you rather have a player 100% focused on training and winning a place in the team?

Twitter is really good though so i can see why he'd be addicted.

Time to be supportive as fans and help him through this tough time.

The guy needs to get a grip, with all the money he earns and the spare time he has on his hands, if the best he can do is go on twitter 24/7 then he has a piss poor social life.

If it would have said 'Sordel is a Black cunt' yes, but surely calling him a cunt is an expression of opinion?

what if the people unveiling the hypothetical Kevin Davies banner where black? Could SKD have had them arrested for racial abuse? he would have been laughed at, racism only exists one way im afraid.

On the thread topic, it really is pretty embarrassing anybody getting addicted to a social network, but hey ho hopefully if he 'gets help' (deletes the twitter app off his phone) we may start seeing more regular performances.

DF said Sordell was training well and getting sorted out a month ago, still took a cup game for him to start.

He's a kid. It's normal. Part of the club's job is to nurture the asset. If Sordell crashes and burns, the club loses money so it's very much in their interest to get his head right. I'm with CEF on this - doesn't guarantee the club will succeed - but they should be doing everything they can (shrinks, ass-kickings etc) to protect their substantial outlay. If they fail, the club has as much if not more responsibility than Marvin himself. He can't help being who he is, but the club chose to spend the money on him and chose to treat him the way they do.
