Holden and Chungy included, good news. Not that they'd get in the team at the moment if they were fit now.

Somebody needs to explain to me how this 25 man squad system works. Sean Davis is in but Riley and Sordell aren't. What does this mean?

Or I could google it I suppose. Wink

Basically you can have as many under 21s as you want but there is a limit to the number of foreign over 21s. Ricardo is a victim of that.

As the younger lads mature Blake's days are increasingly numbered.

I don't think you even have to specify 'foreign' - it's just the 'over 21' bit that is important.

I'm reading the list as that out of all our injured players, Gardner is the least likely to be returning soon and therefore is unlikely to play much if at all during the rest of the season and so is the 26th man of a 25 man squad if you like.

(I think the 25 man squad only applies to the Premier League and in theory Garner could play in the FA Cup for us - if he was ever needed and fit).

The Gardner contract was a toxic contract as soon as it was signed.

short sighted, bad contract.

nothing against Ricardo though, first class pro.

Been a good player for us has Bibi. Wish him all the best for the future. I heard he was interested in the music scene. They should offer him a slot as the DJ on matchdays at the Reebok.
