Our next up and coming game is away at Millwall this coming Friday.

Millwall are currently beneath us in the Championship in 20th place buy only goal difference and Bolton in 18th position and both teams on on 23 points.

The Lions last 5 results are:

Brighton 0-1 Millwall (Win)
Millwall 1-5 M'boro (Loss)
Bournemouth 2-2 Millwall (Draw)
Charlton 0-0 Millwall (Draw)
Millwall 2-3 Brentford (Loss)

With Millwall winning just one game and drawing two out of the last five games, I feel that due to their strikers not firing on all cylinders and their defence shipping goals in I feel we could snatch an away win!

My prediction: 1-2 to the Trotters!

How do you all feel we will do?

this has 0-0 written all over it for me, two teams with not much goal threat at the moment. Hope i'm wrong and we can pinch an away win though.

1-0 them ...... if we had a striker then I might go for the opposite score,  but right now...nobody is scoring a goal for us....and Lonnie can't keep making special saves.  It's a bloody shame really that the team has been left in this state ..... Neil is going to run out of time before he can fix this.

With the amount of live streams we have had recently, I would be surprised if there wasn't an online stream for this game!

Lennon's going to have to get creative with the strikers. Personally I'd like to see him stick with Wilkinson for one more game, good measure of his character to play against his old team I reckon and a show of faith from the manager after an anonymous debut against Ipswich might help rev him up even more. The service was poor for him really which is partly to blame, but he was also playing against one of the best defences in the league pretty much on his own which is a tough ask.

I'd be tempted to start Eider and take him off after 50 minutes or so if he's struggling, problem is where to accommodate him, Lee should play number 10 really given his performances there.

Hope I'm wrong but I can see another draw coming here. Lack of firepower is worrying although the clean sheets are starting to come so maybe one goal could Nick it. Not sure who could put the ball In the net though.

Do we really need a big strong lad in the Kevin Davies mould? Sure a target man helps if we are forced to hoof it but I'm struggling to see how Wilko will ever score given the type of chances we've occasionally created recently. Ditto Tom Eaves who is still ours.

I'm thinking that Neil might be better off looking at some of our younger strikers who may not be as big, but have a bit of pace and guile about them - more Mason than SKD. We have several who could just do it. Good movement and an eye for goal would be my priority up front at the moment.

We keep a development squad for a purpose - to provide new blood. Now we need it, surely this is the time to look at the squad in more detail?

Mason obviously can't play so maybe George Iliev is next in line. I just wonder how effective he could be. Going off wilkinsons first outing it is clearly a difficult step up for the young lads. On the other hand you can only gain the experience by actually playing football. We are not likely to get promoted so this season is probably a good time to give them game time in preparation for a push for the playoffs next season. I get the impression Lennon is a little impatient and wants instant success because that is what he's used to. Unfortunately for him Bolton wanderers and the championship is a different kettle of fish to Celtic and the SPL.
