Let's be honest, we all think our problems are important. Someone says something nasty on the internet and we make a silent protest, someone spills our drink in a pub and we want to bottle them, we don't get that 3% pay rise we think we deserved. The list is endless.

This guy is a modern day hero, lesser men/women would have given up in his position. This could happen to any one of us.

Shouldn't we just be thankful for what we've got and stop bitching about shitty little things that simply aren't important?

No. He's very admirable and is coping much better than I would. But he's not a hero

Fuck me. Can't even imagine. A lot of people would go under trying to deal with even half of what he has had to deal with. I'm sure he can be an inspiration to others and it does put the shitty problems we moan about in context.
