 i agree the defence is shocking, how Phil Jones is even in the squad amazes me 

Never mind calamity Jones, if Smalling is an international class defender then so am I.

Instead of bringing Clyne on for Jones, Roy sticks a midfielder in there at right back.

I like Roy but I don't know what he was playing at there.

 i thought that was a bit odd as well, but Henderson got forward well from right back. Jones and Smalling are both average at best. We used to have some great centre backs but the well has run dry.

Terry and Cahill is just about the best CB pairing in Europe but that ain't going to happen for England.
Worse still, it's likely Manure will look to strengthen their back 4 so it's not even sure Jones and Smalling will get first team football after the summer.
Gibbs and Klyne are good going forward but neither can defend for toffee. Only Cahill and Baines are trustworthy in the back four and Baines can't get a game against the low rated team we've been playing recently.

England need a miracle.

You won't find many English people who think we're better than quarter-finals at the Euros and even that's a stretch.

Still I'm enjoying this side more than I did under Capello and there's plenty to enjoy from it. 

I like Delph, he's all action and will run all day, Wilshere on form has always been great to watch and with pace like Sterling and Walcott there's always a chance of catching teams.

Not even the press are trying to say this is a side capable of challenging, but this is at least fun to watch.

Delph is one of the worst players to wear the shirt imo.
