I notice today I can read all of the forum without needing to log in. Is this a new approach by mods to try and get new posters on board by letting them see what's going on and hoping they'll want to comment?

It could backfire on the other hand when they see we have a bargain booze loving arsonist, a serial killer, Bruce forsyth lover and a southern sausage muncher on board.

We switch and change methods all the time...There are good and bad points to the site being restricted and not being restricted.
