Murray through to the last 16.

Sam Querrey ends Novak Djokovic's remarkable Grand Slam winning run, downing the defending champion 7-6 6-1 3-6 7-6

I'm going tomorrow although the missus could only get tickets for Court 1. No idea who is on because it's a rescheduled extra day and if it pisses down I'll not be a happy bunny.
She loves tennis so I get roped into driving to London and sitting in the rain all day - brilliant. Plus we're going out tonight and she is driving, so I can have a drink - but have to get to bed reasonably early so we can set off at silly o'clock tomorrow morning - and I may miss the recording of the match. Enjoyed Murray's win but am already getting a bit fed up with Wimbledon.

If it's raining and Cliff Richards starts singing shoot yourself in the face or better still shoot him.

It was great but I forgot to take a hat or suncream and ended up boiling my head. I think the extra day is the only day so far where it hasn't rained.
Watched a couple of great matches including Kyrgios v Lopez and then wandered round some of the smaller courts. Amazing how fast the game is "in real life".
The bit where they present the TV show from is actually a gazebo although on telly it looks like a fancy studio set - it isn't.
Not too expensive - worked out marginally more than going to a BWFC away game (or in my case, home game) - £40 for the tickets, £25 parking plus fuel and food/drinks but well worth it and I'd recommend it to anyone.

If anyone is living in London or Berkshire you may be interested in the ticket resale deal they do. I saw a notice that said that from mid-afternoon onwards, they collect tickets from the early leavers and resell them at a tenner apiece - money goes to charity apparently. Worth a tenner just to wander round, have a couple of pints and take in a game or two.

Glad you enjoyed it, always fancied it myself and would prefer to do it where you mill round the smaller courts and are closer to the action.

We got pretty close in Court 1 - above one of the coaches boxes a foot or so higher than the umpire's chair on the other side so it's worth considering if you get the chance. Have no idea how they makes some of those line calls when they're hammering it though - there were some really close ones and the umpires always seem to get it right according to Hawkeye or whatever it's called in tennis.
We had the Russian Kuznetsova's coach and crew in front of us for one game and they got an official warning for "coaching during the game" for what seemed like little more than raising an eyebrow. Maybe those cunning Russians have a secret semaphore-based eyebrow language?

It's in London, not Sydney.

You don't really want to go.

Anyone else watching the final? Murray's best chance of winning a second Wimbledon title they say, but Raonic is a big lad and no pushover. That said, Murray's squeaked the first set.

Mixed reaction for Cameron which is what you'd expect.

Enjoyable game and well impressed by Murray's handling of the big serve. That 147mph serve was lightning, yet Murray won the point. Deserved winner.

Watching the wheelchair final. All they do is do drop shots to win a point.

Don't wheelchairs wreck the  surface of the courts?
