On the victory….
I’m really happy to be through to the next round. It was a really good cup tie between two very good sides and we’ve ended up coming out on top.

We said to the lads that winning is a real good habit to have and we’ve kept that up today, beating one of our rivals for the second time this season.

On his side's performance….
We went in at half time 1-0 up, perhaps it should have been two as Wheater's chance really looked like it went over the line, but thankfully that hasn’t cost us a lucrative third round tie.

The second goal was a great finish by Sammy and for me the third one should have killed the game off.

It hasn’t, they got back into it and made it a bit tense for us at the end, but the lads have got the job done. They deserved the victory and it was a really good cup tie.

On progressing to the third round of the Emirates FA Cup….
We look forward to the draw on Monday. The aim was to make sure we’re in it and now I hope we get one of the big teams.

Obviously financially it’s really good to get a big team in the next draw but for me I want to face them to see what levels our players are at.

The whole team has been playing so well that I would love for them to be tested against the best out there.

On Gary Madine’s performance….
I felt with Gary today his all-round performance deserved that goal.

He’s been unlucky recently because he’s playing well without rewards so obviously he has been a little bit frustrated.

His all-round game and performances have helped us to win football matches so that’s what we’ve been telling him.

Today though he’s got his reward with a goal so that will give him a huge lift.

On the Club's academy graduates….
It’s great for the fans that we’ve been able to produce two quality players like Josh (Vela) and Zach (Clough) through our ranks.

It means a lot for the fans when they see home-grown players playing very well in the first team and they have both been excellent.

It also gives a huge lift for the club and the academy set-up.

It shows the coaches that all their hard-work is paying off and it shows the youth players they do have a chance of breaking through.

And finally, looking ahead to Wanderers' next game against Gillingham….
I don’t like having a rest unless I feel like we’ve deserved it and the way we’ve been playing I think we have.

We look forward to coming back here a week on Monday and hopefully we can keep our standards up.
