I've got 4 kids in the house at the minute.  The lad on the ps4 talking to his mate playing lego worlds.

I'm working on trying to play guitar runs faster at the moment (my fingering is excellent I'm told ) so I've been asked to learn this country piece which is a tune based on the theme of the Munsters TV series. Insane solo and picking in the middle - way too fast for me atm...



By the time I can nail the solo at that speed I'll be dead. Still makes a change from Clapton.

Bang average. I just about manage OK with harmonics in the middle of a run but I struggle with a lot of the more subtle pressure-dependent stuff like dampening and pull offs when playing at speed, probably because I don't have long enough fingers to have the control when stretching. Plus speed up and down the fretboard is an issue for me as I'm basically a blues guitarist. I'll never be great - I lack the self-discipline to practice for hours on end.

Cheers. That's why I'm "strictly rhythm". I don't want to make it cry or sing....
