I preferred Tarzan. As I've said before, a half naked man who lives up a tree with a six year old boy and a chimp takes some beating.

I remember the series from way back. I was very young, just started watching telly. They dont make music like the theme song anymore. I googled the Lady to see what she is doing today and it seems she retired after or shortly after follyfoot. I seem to remember that it was a Yorkshire TV program and filmed in Yorkshire. I recognise a few of those faces, but alas, those days are long gone for those actors. People were different then than they are now.
I didnt like tarzan. Though in the news lately apparently the Tarzan actors son killed his mother at the Tarzan actors home and was then shot by Police in LA.
I am a peaceful person and dont like violence in any way. The Tarzan actor wasnt involved.

You're talking about Ron Ely. He's in poor health and in a wheelchair now.

Gorilla and The Doughnut in Granny's Greenhouse were two of my favourite albums when a bit of levity was required.
Loads of cracking tracks but this one from Tadpoles remains my favourite... a tribute to guitar soloists everywhere...

'In the wardrobe of my soul, in the section labelled shirts'.

It's a line that's always stuck in my mind, and would happily have on my gravestone.

Decent book about Stanshall called 'Ginger Geezer'. Could have been better but an enjoyable romp through his bonkers life.

Suddenly you were gone, from all the lives you left your mark upon. Lyrics used in this song written by Neil Peart, the Drummer in RUSH about a friend he had whom passed away. Also apt for himself as he passed away this week RIP Neil and thank you for all the music.
