Bolton's complete lack of ball possession this season - is it a problem?

Stats from the EFL showing us bottom of the division in that respect.

However second top is Reading and fourth bottom is Cardiff - so does possession of the ball really mean much these days?

What do you think - was Freedman right that you can control games without the ball?

Some very interesting stats. Based on this we won't see much possession when we play Reading next week but who cares if we can beat them or even just grab a point.

Reading play it around a lot at the back ( if they play the same as they did at the macron ) so they do have a lot of possession without gaining much ground, their goalkeeper should be targeted as he flaps a lot.
