According to the Sunday People, Giovanni Dos Santos is still on our radar. Spurs want 5 mill and he will want at least 50k a week so I just can't see us stumping up that kind of cash.

Don't think what we think matters much - I think more the question is that if we do get him, will he ever play this season or is he just another of Coyle's signings that go straight to the bench and stays there?

Up to now, not been a big spending transfer window.

Wonder if the money is drying up, or are there not that many players worth buying.

I reckon it's bargain basement for us. If we survive this season then some contracts wont be renewed and that should reduce our wage bill.

Should have said meant the transfer window in general.

Agree about looking for bargains, not expecting any star buys.

Yeah, it has been one of the least active transfer windows I have ever known.
