Shower gel or soap?

Took a shower at my parent's home recently and looked everywhere for shower gel! Had to settle for a bar of soap in the end...

What is your lather of choice?
And when did you make the switch from soap to shower gel?

Up until being about 13 I don't think I even knew shower gel existed and soon after I made the switch. Is that because shower gel only came out 15 years ago or has it been around forever?

Definitely shower gel, nad to be fair I can never remember using soap-bar in a shower (although must have done at one point!). Lynx/Axe and before that came out it was Insignia.

There again, being a Blackburner, you don't even know what soap is, never mind shower gel or any other form of detergent.
