DNA TEST KITS

I've always fancied trying one of these, purely to see my ethnicity background.

I'm not interested in finding anymore relations!!

Have you done a DNA test?

Which firm did you use and were you happy with them.

Everybody in my family Bolton born and bred for the last three generations going back to my grandparents.

I had to spoil that record with my daughter being born in Surrey!

Well someone had to be posh in the family sooner or later!!!

Lord knows what I'd be. There's Welsh on my Dad's side, and Irish on my Mum's. Never really thought about a DNA test, but it might be interesting.
However, I'd resent paying a hefty sum, only to discover I'm a chimp. My Dad always had his suspicions.

They are OK as a bit of fun but don't take the health "advice" seriously. Thanks for that, some of the popular ones don't do health advice which suits me. I just want to know if I'm part Viking really.
I've got my family tree back to 1791 on my father's side, all from farming stock in the Halliwell and Walker Fold ( Scout Road) area of Bolton.  An area I know well from when I lived in Smithills. I know very little of my mother's side though.

I do worry about the accuracy  of these DNA tests though.

I bought one of these ancestory dna type things a couple if xmas' ago. She linked it to her family tree thing she did and found very extended family pretty much all over the world. 

Hers came back 99% British in think though.
