TOTAL AV for MAC

Have any of you had any experience with this free Antivrus software?

I have 2 macs - this one is 11 years old - and I've never used any antivirus s/ware and haven't had a problem so far.
Obviously I'm not watching enough porn.

Steer clear of it. The product has its own security flaws. Macs are pretty well protected out of the box, but it's a myth to say they can't get infected.
Bitdefender is a better bet. Not expensive, and runs well on the Mac.

Currently using McAfee which comes as a freebie with my BT package.

 It's bloody awful, continually needs renewing, always out of date, very unreliable.

Only been using it as it was free, previously never used Antivirus on my Macs ( just like Lusty).

I'm getting more neurotic so want to replace it when I have uninstalled the McAfee.

30 days free trial with Bitdefender, that's good.

I've just spent the afternoon looking at various Antivirus software websites and feel as though I have done 10 rounds with Mike Tyson.

Still baffled and confused. Anyone use SOPHOS or AVIRA or INTEGO?

The more I read the more confused I become.

If you're looking for a free AV Cajun, Avast is good, but the ads can be annoying. I still say Bitdefender is well worth the money. Macs ain't cheap, so why skimp on protection?
I've used Intego, and it slowed my computer. Likewise Sophos.
