Controversial?

It seems every time that a large group is caught flouting the covid lockdown rules it is either young people attending a party/rave/etc or religious nutters completely ignoring the rules. By religious nutters I mean all faiths, the latest example being Roman Catholics (see link below). Why is it religious nutters think that the rules don't apply to them?

I can supply examples for other major religions if needed.
