We decided to crunch the numbers on Bolton Wanderers’ season so far and show who is leading the way key statistical areas.

Ian Evatt’s side has leapt from 19th to seventh position in a little under a month, boosted by some canny business in the January transfer window.

But how much have the likes of MJ Williams, Dapo Afolayan and Co affected Bolton’s style of play?

GOALS (ALL COMPS)

Easy one, this. Eoin Doyle leading the way on 12 and should soon become the first Bolton striker in 19 years to surpass the dozen. Antoni Sarcevic and Nathan Delfouneso will also fancy their chances of getting into double figures.

DELFOUNESO – 7

SARCEVIC – 6

GNAHOUA - 3

MILLER – 3

Comley top of the pass success percentage?? He always passed sideways or backwards when i've seen him play. Anyone can pass that way but he's contributed nothing this season.

Most of the players pass sideways and backwards. Frustrating to watch, run at them, play a forward pass.

I think Evatt is confusing quick forward transition with “booting it forward” in his comments directed at Gary Henshaw.
