Did anyone watch tonight's episode? Spearing came across as a level headed type of guy and with the amount of airtime he received it seems a bit bizarre that he is playing for us.

I know he plays in the same position as Gerrard but if Gerrard gets injured?

Having watched all the episodes I am getting the feeling that Brendan might have more blarney than Ian Paisley.

The team talks are so fcuking confusing. You can only bullshit for so long and then the message is lost.

I caught the last few mins of spearing and he seems like a decent lad but the talk brendan gave in that training session was a bit too much IMO. I wouldn't say confusing but it's unnecessary and long winded.

It's all fucking blarney. Football is a simple game made difficult by managers. Rodgers was touted as a forward thinking manager when he was at Swansea but having seen his team talks at Scouse HQ I can only assume that the Taffs are easily pleased.
