Ian Holloway's show of support for forward Jon Dadi Bodvarsson 13691296

Jon Dadi Bodvarsson has quickly become a popular figure at Wanderers, and it seems even Ian Holloway is a fan.

The Iceland international came off the bench to score a brace in yesterday’s 3-1 win against Accrington Stanley.

He has now scored three goals in his last five matches and looks set to be a big player for the Whites next season.

Holloway has clearly been impressed with Bodvarsson’s performances since making the move to the UniBol.

Speaking as a pundit on EFL on Quest, the former Blackpool boss said: "I've got a very unusual way of saying it - who's the daddy at Bolton now?

"Jon Dadi Bodvarsson! Jon Dadi Bodvarsson! Jon Dadi Bodvarsson!"

Holloway also treated viewers to his attempt at the Thunder Clap – something that has become very popular among Bolton fans in recent months.

Colin Murray added: “He must be 29, turning 30. Really nice run of form at the moment. He dropped down a league of course.”

Ali Maxwell has also been impressed by the forward's clinical finishing and noted: “Six in 12 for Bodvarsson”.

The result leaves Wanderers 10th in the League One table with two matches still to play before the end of the season.

Ian Evatt’s men are back in action on Saturday afternoon when they head to the Jonny-Rocks Stadium to take on Cheltenham (KO 3pm).
