my parents have 2 Old English Sheepdogs called buster and fudge and my old dog that no longer lives with me - a Bullmastiff called honey. All 3 of them are soft as shit and my son loves them.

The Bullmastiff moved out when the former Mrs rebel fell pregnant and just kind of stayed there - she got attached to the other 2 dogs and I think mummy also got attached.

My house dog is now an english bulldog called Winston, he fits the bill fine, hes a proper house dog and my son adores him.

Amber - Manchester Terrier - got her when she was 5 weeks old. She is as soft as Chris eagles, deaf as as a bat, incontinent and older than all of Bolton Haters slags.
