Oscar Pistorius has been granted bail following a four-day hearing in South Africa.

The Paralympian is accused of murdering his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp at his Pretoria home, a claim he denies, stating instead he shot her by accident as he thought she was an intruder.

The terms also require Pistorius to have a bail officer for the duration of the trial and must report to a police station every Monday and Friday.

The case has been postponed until 4 June.

I'm not buying his defence. He has massive celebrity status in South Africa and it's starting to resemble the OJ Simpson saga.

The South African Police have said that if Pistorius is found guilty he could get the electric chair. Bugger me, he was bloody dangerous enough on stilts, never mind giving him a motability scooter!
