Peter - who surprisingly is not a Bolton Wanderers fan - played in front of his largest audience yet in October 2003. Appearing at half-time with his nephew at the Manchester United v Fulham game in front of a record 67,727 Old Trafford crowd, he cracked jokes (including his famous Garlic? Bread?) and commentated whilst a talented Norwegian super kid impressed everybody with his ball juggling skills. As the Norwegian completed what seemed like his 1,000th 'keepy-uppy', Peter counted, "26...27..." before delighting everybody with a trademark "Ave it!" as the kid booted the ball into the air, catching it cleanly and balancing it on the back of his neck. Peter laughingly claimed "Brian Potter can do that too!"

Shocked

His stand up is average but I thought his best stuff was ''That Peter Kay Thing''

He is funny, but needs new material, living of the same old jokes. Went to see him during his last tour - It was good.

What gets me as to why it is a surprise he is not a Bolton fan when he is not actually a football fan!!!

I'd read in the past he wasn't into football.

His brother Vernon is a Bolton fan though.

He was funny a long time ago but now he's just a pain in the arse.

He's a lazy fat twat who can't be bothered to write any new material. I read one of his autobiographies (I thinks he's written at least three) and it confirms that he's a lazy fat twat.

Liked Phonix Nights and his stand up at Blackpool Tower and his John Smith telly ads - but nothing since then.

Vernon and Peter Kay are not related or are you taking the slash?

I was joking.

Seen Vernon at the game a few times over the years though.

Tess Daly was with him a couple times.

He's shit. The only comedian I find funny is Sean Locke.

Compared to the first two, his latest stand ups have been weak. Compared to the average stand up comedian in 2013, I think he's still very funny, though that's not saying much.

He used to be great at knowing where to draw the line, where now he's happy to carry on flogging long dead horses and getting on people's nerves.
