Not acquiring Spearing and having to play Andrews will cost us dearly

There are no doubts we can score goals.However with Knightmare and Wheater still needing matches under his belt,I think it is a must Medo and Spearing come back together to help protect the back four.This one player could be the difference between promotion or the next few years in the Championship.  

The club are trying to sign Spearing, can't do much more than that.

If we sign Spearing, Andrews wont have a role will he ?

I'd imagine Andrews would be cover on the bench.

Was interesting to see last night that Mills didn't even make the bench, hopefully we can shift him onto someone else before the end of august.

Absolute poppycock. We don't need spearing when we've got a better player in josh vela, I think he's ready to step up now, just hope Dougie thinks the same

Vela is not an holding midfielder.He is more attacking a case IMO Spearing around Medo would shield what is not the best defence in the leauge.Im all for giving Vela an opportunity instead of Andrews who plays a holding role (rather badly) but that puts Vela in a position he is not suited to.Although if it came between Vela and Andrews,Vela would get my vote.I think DF is going for experience which will come to bite him on the arse.

It looks like we're still no nearer to signing Spearing, especially because Spearing started for Liverpool against Valerenga tonight. 

The spearing one is going to go right down to the last few days of august.

I think we could even try tim ream in the holding role

Spearing was our player of the year .....we can find a spot in the team I would think.  Vela could use some game time also.

Don't expect to see much of Andrews this season. Thankfully.
