David Cameron has said the alleged use of chemical weapons by the Syrian government is "morally indefensible" after he recalled Parliament to discuss responses to the crisis.

The prime minister said the world could "not stand idly by" in the face of the "massive use" of banned weapons.

He'll change his mind when Russian, Chinese and Iranian jets are in the sky over Cyprus.

Iran and Israel's religious nuclear war might hurt a bit too.

Taking their time presenting the evidence that Assad has used these weapons (that they sold him) aren't they.

why oh why would you provoke Russia, China and Iran? I mean why?

conceivably Russia could bomb any target in the UK or US or any British or american territory in a second.

Russia are not the power they used to be, that's why they keep siding with countries like Syria and Iran. Isreal could wipe Iran of the map in a couple of days if things got out of control, and China would be bankrupt within 6 months if the USA stopped buying their products. China act tough, but they can't even get their buddies in North Korea to behave.

No-we'll get sucked into another pointless conflict that we can't win. Think of Afghanistan - how many years have we been wasting time, money and young lives there? If we start military action we'll be killing Muslims- and that gives the so -called 'right' to young Muslims hotheads here to increase the threat of terrorism.
The best bet is to get the worlds best intelligence and killing service- the Israeli Mossad to take Assad out. The US could do that by telling them that if they don't, then US protection of Israel would stop.
There are other solutions to simply sending in cruise missiles.

He wants to think twice DC about getting rid of the second Battalion Royal Regiment of Fusiliers , if he's planning another conflict .

No. What the fuck has it got to do with us? What would we gain from getting involved? The gratitude of the Muslim fundamentalists? Look how well Iraq and Afghanistan have worked for not only us but their own people.

I agree. Think we're being sucked into another war the Americans are desperate to get involved in, probably just to weaken an Iranian ally in the middle east.

Our constant involvement in these places only makes things worse; never better, stay out.

What really is the end game for this act of war if not regime change.

do they really think blowing up a few of their planes is going to stop them using chem.

If anything they will retaliate by using more chem (assuming it was them who did it)

even if it wasn't the rebels will see that as fair game to push western involvement.

not to mention the strong strong possibility of a retaliation against British forces in Cyprus and maybe even closer to home.

this will lead to another huge meltdown in the middle east, more aggression on our shores from terrorists and Syrian allies and could light the touch paper for an Israel/Iran Holy War.

Do we have an exit plan or are we going to embroiled in a war for a decade which has no benefit for the people and will see hundreds of British armed forces personnel killed.

We could be spend money on infrastructure or social housing but we spend it on a war. Sigh.

Anyone who thinks Americans want another war is a moron. Obama got elected because he promised to bring all the troops home. He's a very weak leader and that is why countries like Iran and North Korea can thumb their noses at him, they know he will back down. Putin laughs at him, the Chinese manipulate their currency to enable them to inflate it's value and yet he continues to have his country be China's number one client. He might be a good 'speach maker', but he's all talk and no action. The ONLY way the USA will take military action will be if the UK and a few others can talk him into it. Notice when the US Consulate in Tunisia was attacked, he did nothing, same thing when the French were helping the Libyans get rid of Gadhaffi, he did nothing. He's giving the Egyptians 1.5 billion dollars a year in aid while the Army there are killing their own, people have told him to stop the aid, but no - he doesn't want to upset anyone.

You've spent too long in America if you really believe that.

It's ridiculous if you think the UK has any influence in these situations, the US is (and always is) the one pulling the strings

Surely you're not naive enough to think the US is being influenced by the UK???

He's giving the Egyptians 1.5 billion dollars a year in aid while the Army there are killing their own, people have told him to stop the aid, but no - he doesn't want to upset anyone.
That $1.5 billion was; and always has been, there for the Egyptian army to prevent Hezbollah from entering Egypt from the North, in other words weaken the Israeli opposition. That's a fact.

The army in Egypt have been attacking the Muslim brotherhood, no idea what you're talking about.

If you've actually been told anything that you've said above then your either wildy delusional or badly misinformed. If this is what American news reports I'd advise you to look elsewhere for your current affairs.
