Freedman - there's no quality players out there for us to loan!

I find that hard to believe myself but that's what Douggie is saying.


Freedman has no new injury worries but is keeping his fingers crossed that Craig Davies will recover fully from a toe problem to play some part in the squad.

“Craig got a kick and has struggled for the last week or so,” he said. “He is back in training and we’ll see how he goes after that.”

Andre Moritz, pictured above, is out for six weeks with a groin injury but Freedman will not be dipping into the loan market for a replacement.

“I understand when you lose a player that people maybe look to the loan market but that’s not an option for us right now,” he said.

“I don’t think there is any quality out there that would go straight into my team. If there was, I’d go to the board and suggest it then we’d see the answer.”

Doesn't bother me at all this. We need to be giving our own players every chance to play.

Why does he make these comments? They're embarrassing.

Well depends who's available and the asking price (the loan fee plus wages)

so with all that taken into account thats his opinion.

And i'd wager he has a better idea than anyone on this forum.

I see forest have snapped up chalobah on loan, they're looking good now
